Overview on Convergence
Convergence is defined as: "process or state of converging : [example] the convergence of lines in the distance" (Oxford Dictionaries). This window is a coming together of lines of evidence from more than one source! Here is a brief overview of the window’s areas.
In part, the question might be: What in multiple views point to a direction humanity is headed toward?
And might this relate to what scientific data reveal about life’s existence as incredibly designed by a Designer, and further how might Jewish and Gentile people read a biblical text to get a more full understanding of a purpose to this life, and thus expect a future beyond this lifetime?
The Change Area applies the word ‘change’ in several ways. One is change to the Earth’s environment. Next, changes linked to human activities in multiple dimensions are global and complex. All this has an impact on all humanity on Earth. Add to this the outline of events described in the Scriptures—change today and tomorrow are expected to direct humanity into a specific chronology of future events. The net effect of all changes leads up to an end of an era and a difference for persons of faith or others who have not taken time to assess life’s purpose and biblically preview what the future will bring.
The Science Area adds a completely different set of perspectives about life. Evidence from scientists and their research conducted in recent decades builds an appreciation for design in nature. Design requires information with order, specificity, and complexity that results in having structure and function that cannot be a result of chance and some random process—nature alone is not a designer. The information requires a mind to be created and thus intelligence composes design. Remarkable, even awesome, examples of what is Intelligent Design opens up a new understanding as to who we are and unique elements that made life possible in the first place. While theologians look into a Book of Scriptures as having a Devine author, design in nature supports something we need to consider and that is the same author is the source of science information in a Book of Nature. Both books are relevant to providing a more complete understanding.
The Harmony Area points to adding insight to some key points that are now always encountered or understood. Yes, there are indeed many worldly thoughts on what life is and different religious pathways leading to various beliefs. And yet, a simple overview to a harmony of principles and unique points to a context that covers all Jewish and Gentile persons. If the Book of Scriptures is indeed complex and relevant to all humanity, then a look at biblical themes leads to an understanding of what is described for humanity’s future. Further, the Scriptures reveal how you are offered an option to make a key decision while alive now and what that means for your future.
The harmony illustrated here brings together Jew and Gentile, notes the purpose to Israel, and provides references to the future chronology of end time events. If clarification of harmony delivers relevance to you then the window is a means to gather vital perspectives into view.
The Timeline Area within WindowView is offered to review the past, have a sense of changes and the direction humanity is currently headed in, and provides an outline for end time and future events as provided in the Scriptures. Perhaps the more significant aspect is a look forward in light of what you see going on in the world today.
The main point is to learn about the Gospel which there are many sources for this on the internet, in churches, and by conversations with friends.
